Marvin
Marvin has been a member since October 2020. He was born in Astoria his family moved to Lemoore, CA when he was 5 year old until age 20 then he moved back home to Astoria. His favorite hobby is listening to music. Watching Comedy makes him smile. Marvin said that his favorite thing about being a member of Beacon is being able to help people in their lives & being able to connect with them.

Candy
Candy’s Favorite hobbies are coming to Beacon and socializing with her friends. She has been a member for the last 1 and a half years. Candy grew up right here in Astoria Oregon. She has two adult boys. What she likes about Beacon Peer-Support Services is that it is a friendly place for her to come to and hang out with people. Her favorite foods are Asian cuisine and corned beef with cabbage. She likes working with babies and young children. That was her career when she was younger, and it brought her joy.

Will
Will has lived in Astoria for the past three years and grew up in Clatsop County. His favorite activities are relaxing at home and riding on his scooter. His favorite thing about Beacon is that it is a safe place to be. Will’s favorite food is pizza with alfredo sauce.

Cindy
Cindy lived in Los Angeles, California until she was 12 and then moved to Astoria. Her favorite past time is going to the pool and swimming. She loves making jewelry. She has a 13 year old daughter, named Janelle. Her favorite clubhouse activity is tie dye.
